The duo formed by Simona Severini (voice and guitar) and Jacopo Ferrazza (double bass) was established in the autumn of 2022.
After years of mutual acquaintance, the two artists decided to bring their artistic paths together, creating a repertoire of original compositions alongside reimagined interpretations of jazz standards and songs by songwriters such as Joni Mitchell.
Over the years, the duo has performed at some of the most important Italian jazz festivals, recorded sessions for Swiss Italian Radio (RSI), and appeared internationally in prestigious contexts such as the Cairo Jazz Festival in Egypt and jazz festivals in Luxembourg.
In January 2025, Simona Severini and Jacopo Ferrazza recorded the duo’s debut album, Dream Scenario, produced by Centro di Produzione Adriatico and Auditorium Parco della Musica, which was released on November 7.
